How we work

We don’t just dispose of end-of-life assets; we maximise their value and minimiase their environmental impact.

Whether dealing with hazardous refrigerants or bulky construction insulation, our operations are built on a strict zero-to-landfill promise driven by our three-step circular economy process.

Step 1: Reuse

Capture, Test, and Restock

Focuses on component harvesting across all equipment types.

  • The Process: Before any asset is broken down, our specialist teams farm end-of-life equipment—from commercial refrigeration units to complex WEEE. Using a careful human touch, we safely capture, test, and store usable parts.

  • Gas Reclaim: For refrigeration assets, we safely decant and clean refrigerant gases, banking them for future use.

  • The Benefit: We create a reliable catalogue of fully-tested, stocked spare parts that can be utilized across your estate, shortening lead times, reducing asset downtime, and increasing first-time repair success.

Step 2: Repurpose

Circular Resource Recovery

  • The Process: Complex waste like refrigeration and construction insulation materials, contain hazardous substances and require specialist handling. Rather than sending these materials for disposal, we ensure insulation materials are repurposed into new products. By working with manufacturing partners material is redirected back into construction panels, changing a linear waste stream into a more sustainable circular economy.

  • Award-Winning Innovation: Our process and approach to circular economy principles has been recognised by the refrigeration and cooling industry. We apply these same principles not only to insulation waste but to component parts and entire assets. Successfully diverting usable assets and materials away from disposal routes, reintroducing them back into service.

  • The Benefit: By diverting waste from landfill and incineration we reduce Co2 emissions. Recovering materials and repurposing into new reusable products, we further reduce Co2 consumption. This reduces waste, conserves raw materials, and helps customers achieve their sustainability objectives.

Step 3: Recycling

Segregation & Substitution

Focuses on the final breakdown and high-level compliance.

  • The Process: Using state-of-the-art equipment, we carry out all material segregation in-house. From raw metals and plastics recovered from WEEE to treated insulation components, we ensure everything finds a second life.

  • Closing the Loop: We work closely with some of the UK’s largest processing facilities so that the materials we recover can actively replace virgin materials in manufacturing.

  • Unmatched Compliance: We operate under a Waste Installations Permit, recognized by the Industrial Emissions Directive. We are one of only 16 facilities in the UK to hold this level of environmental permitting, and the only one specializing in commercial equipment.
